Contact us Email doesn't arrive

On our contact us link we have a drop down box with different persoonel user can send an email to.

When email is composed and email is sent we get a successful email sent message. The problem is it the message isn't getting to any of our mailboxes. If we use the send email function within Zen Cart then everyone gets their email no problem.

Ive played with changing the settings in the Admin email options but to no avail.
Can anyone help with this problem.

If your contact-us email address is not typed in the proper format, it cannot be delivered. See the format in the description text next to the input field in

Admin->Configuration->Email Options->Contact Us Pulldown

Just type in one email address and she if she fires... If correct add the others in a correct format..

What version of Zen cart are you running..

If 139 root/ dubug

1. you will see an error at the top please post back

I'm running 3.8. I do have the debug running. Where can I send you the copy of the latest debug, so that it is not visible to others.

That reveals that you've had the "Newsletter Subscribe" addon installed at some point, and evidently removed *part* of it, but not *all* of it.
Either that or you installed *part* of it, but not *all* of it.

You'll have to sort out which way it's supposed to be, and then make sure all your files follow suit.

Hey Dr.Byte, My newsletter is a Banner manager Add-on. I believe I tried to install the Newsletter add-on from free downloads.Prior to the Banner installation. Would these be the files I should check first to make sure I removed them all? Thanks for your help.

I apologize, but I'm not intimately familiar with either of those addons.
I'd look at the list of files they touch (and install/remove docs) and do the corresponding cleanup.

The add-on I had tried to install was:
Zencart Addon: Newletter Subscribe v 2.1.1 for Zen Cart v1.3.8a
Designed for: Zen Cart v 1.3.0x by Sara Jacobson (NotGoddess)
Modifications made 1-1-2009 on zen cart 1.3.8a - see ns_changelog for details.

Anyways I reinstalled it even though I am using a third party subscription newsletter, which in no way has any code within the zen cart data base. The problem now is It only sends the very first name in the drop down box only. I've altered it so that I could receive mail as webmaster and as myself, but will only receive the first one which is Webmaste.
