Is there a way to disable the Zen-Cart checkout?

I am currently using the Google Checkout module which places a new checkout button to complete the order and make payment via Google Checkout. This module bypasses the Zen-Cart checkout system however, it add's the Google Checkout customer and order and payment completion to Zen-Cart as the order updates.

It seems that the 2 checkout buttons #1 Zen-Cart and then #2 Google Checkout may cause confusion to the customer so I am wondering if it is possible to remove the Zen-Cart checkout option from view.

Any suggestions on it's removal keeping in mind I may want turn it on if additional payment options are used at a later time.
