embed flv??

is it possible to embed a flv movie into the product description. I have html chosen but each time i try to put the code in I get nothing showing or it wants to download the movie instead of showing it.

A flv is a raw flash file. If you want to embed it, you would actually embed a player which would then load and play the flv.

Some people covert flvs to swfs with built in players. Bit it's usually better to have a separate player. Flowplayer and JW Player are two popular options for well-featured, stand-alone players.
