First I know that you can set the widths, globally, in admin>layout settings.
What I need to do is set the width of the RIGHT column to be a bit smaller on certain pages. Can I do that with css? Is this even possible to do in ZC?
Any ideas?

If you can't use the global admin switch, then you'll have to hard-code the changes into your respective templates.
