Account information question

OK.... I've scoured the book, looked through menu options, and still cannot find this 'switch' or setting....

From the customer account settings screen(logged in as a customer within the store), if you click on 'my account' and check the option for 'product notifications' you are presented with this:

Product Notifications

The product notification list allows you to stay up to date on products you find of interest.

To be up to date on all product changes, select Global Product Notifications.
Global Product NotificationsReceive notifications on all available products.

Product NotificationsThere are currently no products marked to be notified of.

To add products to your product notification list, click on the notification link available on the detailed product information page.

Looking at the last sentence(....notification link available on the detailed product information page.). How do I turn that link ON for customers? I'm not finding it anywhere in any of the menus and I don't see a link on my product pages.... What am I overlooking?

Do you have the sidebox turned on?

You can set your preferred sort order and column status here as well.
