Hi,

I could make this an option, to display the vote button if 'Show vote button on overview page' is set to 'yes', and either 'Allow multiple votes' is set to 'yes', or the IP of the customer hasn't voted yet. What do you think?

To customer have opportunity to vote from overview page.

Hello, I would like to put the poll manager poll and results on a page and not the sidebar.

I have copied the code from the sidebox template and put it on a page - this works if the sidebox is enabled too but if I disable it then the questions/poll dissappears.

Would you be able to advise me on this or should I give up?!

Hi,

The poll information is collected in the sidebox MODULE, and displayed in the sidebox TEMPLATE. I guess you only added the TEMPLATE code to your page? In that case, if you switch off the poll sidebox, it won't execute the module code anymore, and there will be nothing to display.
What you might try is add the MODULE code to your page too, this is in /includes/modules/sideboxes/<your template>/poll_box.php.

Hi, many thanks for the quick reply. Yes this is what happened... it works fine when the module code is copied accross too. Just need to change the styling a little and it will look good on my page.

What version of ZC are you running and what version of PM?

Did the install script run without errors?
If you enabled error tracking, did it show any errors?

No errors. But it seems that I've did something wrong during different mods installation since I can't even turn Website Maintenance On/Off (no options offered).
So, I'll wait till 1.5 release and rework on the mods then. Thanks for your time.

Hi,

The disappearing text issue won't be hard to fix. If you display the page without text, and view the page source in your browser, you will probably discover there that the texts are present, but invisible. This could very well be a CSS issue, where the style for the text is redefined in that specific template. The style for the poll box is 'sideBoxContent'.
If the site is accessible from outside, I can also have a look for you.

Hi there

The text for the options does not display on mine either (the question is there and the radio buttons below but they are blank so you don't know what each button is for). If you click and vote on one of the blank options it displays the text right in the results though.

I don't know what a CSS issue is. Are you able to give some more detailed instructions on how I can fix this? Other than not showing the text in that first instance it all works fine and looks like it will be very handy.
