Recovering from a hack

Hi there.

One of my stores has recently been hacked.
I wish I kept the hackers name, but basically he managed to delete the index.php and replace it with a index.html file with is name and other hackers.

He also deleted the hide_config_files.php file and replace my .htacess file

I restored these files from a backup and now my store homepage shows the template with all the files/directories in my server.

Any help?
