Default Creating a Product Order Form, Grid-Style

    Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody could possibly help with the following: I want customers to be able to order multiple sizes and colors all at once using a type of grid system, where each color and size would have its own quantity box, like shown below (click to enlarge):

(Please disregard the fact that "Red" is shown three times. This is just a mock-up image.)

Is this possible? Is there an easy way to do this? Or will I have to hack the code extensively for this (which I really don't mind doing)?

    Hi

There's an addon for this called 'Product Attribute Grid.

    It works well!

If you ALSO add the mod Product Attribute Grid, in combination with Stock by Attributes, you can have both the little boxes for customers to enter the quantity they want, AND underneath each little box, the quantity that are available for sale. The quantities available are automatically recalculated when orders are placed. And you can set it so that a customer can't order more than are in stock OR so they may (like a backorder).

Example, using Stock by Attributes 1.4.7 ajax and Product Attribute Grid 1.1.1 on zc 1.3.8a:

I am going to ask something that may be a dumb question but..is there any way to have a dropdown above the grid that has selections x,y,z. When a user select x,y or z the prices in the grid change depending on the dropdown choice.

It sounds like a custom AJAX thing or something. I have seen it work on another ZC site with the grid and it is genious. I really could use the function and if anyone has a clue where I can start searching I would appreciate any help.

Have you tried using the attribute controller to increase the price per attribute? this should work.

This answered a question I also had, but poses new ones. I downloaded the module and I *think* I installed it correctly, although I found the instructions rather confusing. I then went to the store side and clicked on several different items, per the instructions. Nothing appears to have happened. Did the module actually install? How will I know? I went back into my Catalog/Categories and nothing looks different. Where will I find the new entry screen to enter the information?

Sorry to be such a newbie but...well, I am.
