Nothing shows on website.

No, I can't get into admin. It shows me the "System Setup Required" page. I actually did follow this tutorial that you posted: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=122
earlier and ran the Fix Cache Key Utility. Since I ran that my website has been blank. On the download page for that utility step #4 says: * 4. The cache setting from your configure.php file will be displayed, followed by the cache setting from your database. - This was never shown when I ran that utility.

Wow. Ok, so I apparently left out 1 backslash in the configure file. But now I've got the error "Your database appears to need patching to a higher level. See Admin->Tools->Server Information to review patch levels." at the top of my store.

I tried to upgrade only my database by running zc_install and this is what came up in my browser:

1253 COLLATION 'latin1_general_ci' is not valid for CHARACTER SET 'utf8'
in:
[CREATE TABLE counter_history_clean as SELECT * FROM counter_history WHERE 1 GROUP BY startdate COLLATE latin1_general_ci;]

Now at the top of my store it says:

NOTICE: The website is currently Down For Maintenance to the public
Warning Your database appears to need patching to a higher level. See Admin->Tools->Server Information to review patch levels.

I didn't set it up to say Down for Maintenance and it's still telling me to patch the database. I tried running the database upgrade again and it did the same thing.
