Download: Pending->Processing->Delivered

I've searched and could not find the answer to this. I have a site with downloads only. I know that the download will be available after the status is changed from Pending. What I want to do is as follows.

PENDING until payment is confirmed then PROCESSING to allow downloading then DELIVERED after the product has been downloaded.

Is this possible?

You can set the Payment Method(s) to have the Order Status as Pending (orders_status) 1 ... which will require you to confirm the Payment and then change the order to Processing (orders_status 2) ... but there isn't anything for automatically changing the Order Status to Delivered (orders_status 3) after the Download ...

The Download has settings for Maximum Download and Maximum Days in which to make those downloads ... but there isn't anything to trigger the Delivered ...

You would need to customize the code for this ...

One issue that comes to mind is Orders with multiple downloads as when 1 download is made, should the Order be set to Delivered or only when all Download products on the order have had 1 or more attempts made to download?

Or, build something to check all downloads on an order and if at least 1 attempt is made on each download then change to Delivered ...

I have it as Processing now when the payment is made. Your scenario is exactly what I was wanting the delivered for. The status change to Deliver would, in my perfect world, be set once all files have been delivered. If this couldn't be done fairly easily, I guess I would just change the status directly from Pending to Delivered and forget processing.

You would need to customize the download code to test all downloads in the order to see that they have been tried at least once ...

This isn't a difficult customization but it would need to be managed carefully to handle single and multiple download products ...
