Default Default PayPal Express Checkout problem (10002) can't complete transaction

PayPal Express Checkout problem (10002) can't complete transaction

Installed and populated the PayPal Express Checkout module with verified business account info - copy and pasted from the PayPal web site:
    - API Username
    - API Password
    - API Signature
    - Selected live (not sandbox)
Set configurations / My Store / cURL Proxy Status to FALSE (PayPal confirmed choice as well as the host, MacHighway).

PayPal reviewed and says the Zen Cart info is not being passed to theie servers. What could be the problem? Did I forget to check or un-check something somewhere? Any thoughts?

I also read and followed the instructions found on:

BTW... the LinkPoint credit card module is currently up and running on the same site.

Your duplicate identical post has been merged with this one. No need to re-post the same thing all over the forum, as that just creates clutter, and unfinished discussions without resolutions.

Thanks. I'll be mindful of that.

Tried checking and un-checking some things and testing but still no positive results. Read all I could find on the subject. Since in the past I've un-checked the wrong thing I thought that might again be the source but I don't know.

What kind of file or function needs to be activated for PayPal to complete a transaction? That might help me look in the right place.

    Happy for any direction.

10002 is an authentication error. PayPal's documentation says: "This error can be caused by an incorrect API username, an incorrect API password, or an invalid API signature. Make sure that all three of these values are correct. For your security, PayPal does not report exactly which of these three values might be in error."

The correct way to set it up is discussed here: www.zen-cart.com/getpaypal

It's really as simple as entering the correct API user/pwd/sig ... that's all I do everytime I set up a new site.

Checked all the API info entered and it was perfect. The module was filled out perfectly.

I went into the PayPal business account to check everything again and there's where I found the error. The checkbox to enable IPN was checked but I noticed the specified URL was somehow missing both the underscores. So I re-copied and inserted the URL from the Zen module into the PayPal field, took it for a spin and it worked!

    Thanks again.

BTW... I was surprised to see how dominant the PayPal graphics were (in size and color) compared to the Zen "go to checkout" button for LinkPoint and all the other credit cards. Also I anticipate some customer confusion with the text headline "New Customers". It should really say "New PayPal Customers" and it should be positioned below "Create A Customer Profile".

Is there any way I can flip that positioning?

    I know I ask a lot.
