This new update for Paypal, in the zip file does any body know where we should put this update PHP file.
I have not loaded the module yet, but when I do I would like to update it to stop trouble, being rather new I have no idea where to put it and there is no instrutions in the zip
Paypal is integrated into Zen Cart. Are you asking how you upgrade your Zen Cart to get the latest Paypal integration?

It is NOT an official patch, and is NOT intended to be installed unless needed for the specific problem for which it was posted.

Yes I am sorry for posting in the wrong area, do not really know how to use the forum that correctly yet, and thank you for moving it to the correct place, I posted where I thought it would get some attention as no one seemed to be answering.
As I have just loaded a new cart and still setting it up ( 1.3.9d ) and the threads I have been studying all, seem to point to the fact that it seems to be all the later versions that are giving the same problem, I was just trying to safe guard myself should the problem appear and then I would have know what to do strait away. When starting a new shop and maybe getting your first customer, then having to phone them to say their order had gone through but you have no shipping addressfor them, and causing them an unfore seen delay would not go down well.
So if an update patch is required for the later vesions including Zen 1.3.9d lets hope that it appears very soon. Because there seems to me, that there are may people asking about this on the forum in one thread and onther.
Sorry if people do not agree with what I have done, and put in the above, but being new to all this you can only make comments as you see them, when reading these threads, because they start to worry you.
Just upgraded a client to 1.3.9d and his store is using WPP and EC. When a customer pays with EC in PayPal it just shows, Item Total and the amount rather than the product's name.
We contacted PayPal and they said that the item name wasn't included in the post data.
This worked on 1.3.8a. Please advise.
numinix, when we used 1.3.8a it only showed the "Total Amount" and "Item amount" for transactions in PayPal (Transaction Details). We are seeing no difference between 1.3.8a and 1.3.9d when viewing transactions in PayPal.
Also, this thread was created for a specific issue with IPNs, which has now been resolved.
Sorry, this problem is specifically with Express Checkout (this thread is in the EC forum, not the forum for IPN) and your thread title directly matched the issue. I'll start another thread.
