Can't turn off weight in shopping cart default

I have the settings within the configuration for Shipping/Packaging set at zero as I don't want the weight displayed on the cart (all virtual items) and I've also turned it off on the product detail; however the cart is being stubborn and is still displaying "Olbs" -

Never had this issue before - is there some new way to turn that off?

Look here:

Configuration > Layout Settings > Shopping Cart - Show Totals
Show Totals Above Shopping Cart?
0= off
1= on: Items Weight Amount
2= on: Items Weight Amount, but no weight when 0
3= on: Items Amount

I have a similar problem.

Unfortunately I'm looking to turn off the "shipping weight" display on the product listing itself and not when viewing shopping cart.
I've set "Display Product Weight" to 0 and i've also set the "Show totals" to 0 and still it displays the weight when viewing the product itself. Can anyone point me in the right directions please?

well im an idiot....lol managed to get into configuraiton -> product types
and found what i needed :).

Catalog>Product Listing>Product General> Set "Show Weight" to 0
