Recipes page with subcategories

Hello,

I want to make a Recipes section on a Zen Cart 1.39 website, and I would like the structure to be as follows:

Recipe section (intro about the recipe section, etc)
>Appetizer recipes
>Breakfast Recipes
>Dessert Recipes
>>Chocolate Ice Cream recipe
>>Chocolate candy recipe
>>Chocolate Cake recipe

What would be the best way to accomplish this? i checked into the TOC and Chapter settings, but it looks like that would only get me as far as the categories, and I would have to add the recipes for each section "manually" to one, long "Dessert Recipes" page.

I would instead like if the Dessert Recipes page could have a link of the recipes in the category, and then clicking one of those recipes would take you to that recipe's full page.

EZ Pages only go one level deep.

You could make your recipes 'products', with the various categories as, well, categories, and make them of the Document - General product type.

Thanks, stevesh. I actually just figured that out a few minutes ago. My next question... :)

My products sidebox now has:

Chocolate Candy
Recipes
Peppermint Candy
Spearmint Candy

How can I remove Recipes from that sidebox menu and add it to its own sidebox menu? I would like something like this:

RECIPES
>Appetizer recipes
>Breakfast Recipes
>Dessert Recipes


Is all of that possible?

I haven't tried it, but it's based on the Blank Sidebox mod, which works fine.

I would love a recipe mod that customers can contribute too. I have been using the doc general but it would be nice if a customer who uses one of our products could submit a recipe to share with others thinking of buying it.
