I go to my admin page, and it doesnt even give me the option to login.
its a completely blank screen, and it says done at the bottom of the window, so its finished loading and nothing appears.

Sounds like you installed a mod that messed with your admin. What did you install?
More then likely it doesn't like what version of php your using... So what version php you running?
Can you restore backup files? Did you backup before applying a mod? You got to backup before installing any mod. Backup your filed, backup your database! Can't stress this enough.

Hi,
I'm in the same position as ldouble619. The admin page simply comes up blank, but without errors. Firebug shows me the following source
<html>
<head></head>
<body></body>
</html>
The strange thing is that I built this site two years ago for my wife and it's been working perfectly ever since. Then recently, this happened. I definitely haven't installed any mods and my hosting company swears that no files in the admin folder have changed. I've got an old 'test' instance which is working, so I doubt it's due to the hosting company doing an upgrade to one of the underlying applications either.
I know it's cheeky asking for help when I haven't upgraded to the latest version but I spent many hundreds of hours customising the site when I built it and the thought of upgrading to the latest is too daunting for words since I haven't worked on it for over two years.
Thanks for any suggestions you might have.
Sorry, should have mentioned that I'm on version 1.3.7.1 and PHP version 5.2.6
Possum.
I would check your site for hacks ...
If you have something like Beyond Compare from scootersoftware.com you could do an FTP compare of your good backup to your server to see if things are messed up ...
