Newsletter sending eMail error

ERROR: Failed sending email to: "" with subject: "Please confirm The Trailing Edge newsletter subscription" SMTP Error: The following recipients failed: [email protected].

This error message was received as soon as subscribe was clicicked once enail address was entered.
Not sure where to look to repair error.

email address was altered by me but it is a good email address

In Configuration >> Emails Options, change your transport method, you may have to confer with your webhost for the correct settings.

I'm still getting this error message on all new newsletter subscriptions.

Do I need to add something somewhere between the parenthesis following failed to send email to: "" with subject

Looks like a bug in whatever your newsletter subscribe addon is doing ... namely it looks like it's using a blank email address instead of the address entered in the browser.
Best to take up the issue with whoever is supporting the addon you're using.

This was the remedy. email transport was set at smtp, changed it to PHP and everything else fell into place, thanks to Mprough and my Host company for the proper fix
