    Absolutely positive. Did you also, read the Dr.'s post VERY carefully?

    You might also post both your configure.php files (without passwords) to see if we can see any problems with them.

    Ok my Includes.php is:

    // Define the webserver and path parameters
    // HTTP_SERVER is your Main webserver: eg-http://www.your_domain.com

    define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.gamebeta.co.uk');

    // Use secure webserver for checkout procedure?
    define('ENABLE_SSL', 'true');

    Your site isn't loading at all for me, again.

    If you posted the EXACT ENTIRE files, then I see a couple of things wrong.

    First, in the includes/configure.php: It seems to be missing part of the top section with your starting php tag:

    Code:
    <?php
    /**
     * @package Configuration Settings circa 1.3.9
     * @copyright Copyright 2003-2010 Zen Cart Development Team
     * @copyright Portions Copyright 2003 osCommerce
     * @license http://www.zen-cart.com/license/2_0.txt GNU Public License V2.0
     * File Built by zc_install on 2010-06-17 12:11:51
     */

    /*************** NOTE: This file is similar, but DIFFERENT from the "admin" version of configure.php. ***********/
    /*************** The 2 files should be kept separate and not used to overwrite each other. ***********/
    Also noticed a couple of missing apostrophes in Admin/includes/configure.php
    Code:
    define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', '**********************/');
    define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '****************/');
    The ones in red are the missing ones.

    Hi thanks for responding

    At the top of my includes i have:

    <?php
    /**
    * @package Configuration Settings circa 1.3.8
    * @copyright Copyright 2003-2007 Zen Cart Development Team
    * @copyright Portions Copyright 2003 osCommerce
    * @license http://www.zen-cart.com/license/2_0.txt GNU Public License V2.0
    */

    Although i am now using v1.3.9c so i am not sure why it says 1.3.8

    and i did acciedently delete the quotes.
    i am going to phone 123reg now as the site was working under http:// i second ago but would take me to 123reg website if i treid to goto the login page.

    But now it is not working again. under http:// and again missing the stylesheet from https://

    Would i make a difference having external links in some of my sideboxes as adverts?

    No, your external links shouldn't cause this kind of problem.

    Just phoned 123reg and they said bcause the DNS takes 24-48 hours to update and i only installed it yesterday afternoon this is causing a confliction issue.

    They said wait 48 hours for the server to finish working on it and see if it works then.

    my cert is my own and not shared so i have set the files correctly

    Maybe they are correct in what they say. Is this somethign you reckon could be causing it?

    They are correct: it can take up to 48 hours for the DNS to filter through

    It is actually best to wait with the upload of the (new) configure.php files until that time. That avoids the problems you are experiencing.

    It's been almost 48 hours, 1pm UK time today will be, and still no change.

    Do you think i have broken my site by changing the config files before i should have?

    Please have a look if you need to>

    http://www.gamebeta.co.uk
    https://www.gamebeta.co.uk

    which should now be the default access http or https://

    sorry if i am being stupid, i don't know anything about this as i have never done it before :)
