Problem with SetUp Godaddy line 19

I truly am lost. I cant get past the Setup - Database Setup part. page will not load error on line 19
'document.getElementByld(...)' is null or not a object

i have followed direction aleast 10 times. deleated all info off server and started over. used diff versions. same problem. i know its something simple. can someone please help before I lose the rest of my grey hair?

Firstly, GoDaddy is about the worst host in the universe for eCommerce. Before you go any further you should seriously reconsider your decision to host a webshop there.

There are MANY reasons for this, and if you spend a few hours on the forum looking for threads about GoDaddy, you will eventually see why it is a bad space to be.

If you are committed to GoDaddy (and a lifetime of hell) then:

1. Have you created a database yet?

yes i have created the MySQL database

I do not see any folders on my server for database. sould there be one? should i see it?

The database is a completely separate component and is not housed in a "folder" but is configured on a database server. for most GOOD hosts, this server is on the same box as the site server. (GoDaddy I think separates these servers... another reason to avoid GD).

How did you set up your database. Describe WHERE and HOW you created the database...

godaddy database is on a seperate server. i have the location.

i went to go daddy admin section on my account and added the MySQL database.

i do not have a problem putting the location in.

there is nothing on the database setup page.

Send, via FTP, the zc_install folder to your server. Overwrite the existing server.

Do you have javascript enabled on your browser? (Not sure if this is important, but try it)

checked java. up todate and active. and i reloaded the file 15 time. and tried diff versions. also tried diff browsers. i know its something stupid too.
keep getting the error line 19 as described above.
