    Default Categories Menu Styling Problems

    Greetings Zencart

I am trying to style the catagories something like this:

    http://osc4.template-help.com/zencart_28391/index.php

But the catagories are not using <ul> or <li> they are made up od <a> and <br/>

I've used line-height:190% but that wont decorate it properly nor id that good css

How does one style this issue?

These are TEMPLATE MONSTER templates and they often depart radically from core ZC code.

There are some neat categories sidebox ADD-ONS in the free add-ons section. Go take a look at some of them.

There's a (pretty simple) mod that changes the Categories listing to an unordered list, which seems to be what you need, but I can't find it right now.

It's not listed under sideboxes or template alterations, but under other modules.
Categories menu - replace with ul/li
    http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...oducts_id=1307

Be aware that this makes a single <ul> for all categories and subcategories, and does not distinguish between category levels except with the original a.category-top etc. selectors. Thus you will not be able to use it to apply CSS to category levels on a ul level basis.

Categories Dressing creates a correctly nested set of <ul> lists for all (known) permutations of category display.
