Cable Configurator ?

I'm just getting to grips wit Zencart at present, trying to learn fast.

I'm just starting to upload products to my site to see how they look, honestly I am struggling. It looks a Mess.

The main reason in my opinion is that I sell fibre optic cables there are 100's of Varients.

Is it feasible for me to offer a basic configurator using attributes?
3 Options...

* Fibre Type (Sets price Per M Value)
* Connector A (Different price for each Connector)
* Connector B
* Length (Adds Per M price)

Ideally I would want this to spit out a custom Model Number...

Does this all sound feasible?

Using the type and having this set the $/M value you do not need length
You do need to explain that the Qty ordered is in meters and that one should enter the meters desired as the quantity

Connector "A" can have many attribute options available as can connector "B" and priced individually when added to the product
