Images not appearing on site

I have a client that has recently had all the images on his site( with the exception of some images in a separate folder inside the site ...his logo and such ) but all product images do not display ... no error is thrown out if you plug in the exact address of the image in its folder it throws a 500 error ... not sure what has happened as he has not to my knowledge changed anything ... his server had been spammed and his hosting company took care of that but now he has no images ... it is a t-shirt site and as you can imagine the images not being there is not helping sells ... does anyone have any ideas ... i am open to try anything ... he is running version 3.8 patched ... help please ... thanks Mongo

Does the site load at all, a 500 error is usually an internal error, you will need to contact your host if you are getting this error when putting a url to an image

ya the site loads .. the only time i get the 500 error is when i put the physical address of the image itself ... ie .. www.zencart.com/images/image5.jpg ... that is a phone addy but you get the idea ... i am thinking it is something the hosting company did when they flushed the spammers. Spammers are gone but so are the images ... i reloaded and ftp'd all images back up ... still no product images ...

reading your post, im guessing this only applies to product images, and i correct? and that your template graphics are all loading fine?

Hi, I am new here, and having issues with the image in my header/logo. I uploaded it and it was there when I went to my site, haven't changed anything and now its not there. I am using firefox, but also checked IE and the logo/header image doesn't show on either. Why would it appear and look fine and then now its blank? To get an idea > blossomingbodyscents.com I'm using the latest version of zen cart, just downloaded it yesterday. I haven't loaded any products yet, so can't tell you whether those are gone or not.

Hi, you may of been better posting as a new topic as this thread is for a different matter, your header logo is stored in your templates folder, and if you have changed the filename then this needs to be defined

What process have you actually carried out, what files have you altered? and what files and where have they been uploaded to?
