Image Replacement

hi all, where do i find the areas that allow me to change all the imagery in the left column? is that in the style sheet, or in an image folder? is it possible to replace them and change their viewing sizes too?

we've finally gotten the new background in, but now can't find the areas in zen cart or elsewhere to replace things like:

Who's Online - want to put an image there instead of the text

basically every little button we have on the site currently is nowhere to be found thru zen cart..

help? thanks in advance too!
