    Default 1.3.8 I.E 6 problem, can't sign up - date of birth not recognised

    Hi.

    As per title I have an installation of 1.3.8 running fine on all platforms I have tried apart from explorer 6 which seems to not recognise the date even though it is entered exactly as it requests.

    Has anyone encountered this bug and is there an easy fix please?

    Any help most gratefully received.

    Well, I found a rubbish workaround... I have found that i.e.6 thinks 10 characters are 9 according to my copy of zen-cart...

    So I changed the file:

    /includes/modules/pages/create_account/jscript_form_check.php

    LINE: 114

    FROM:

    <?php if (ACCOUNT_DOB == 'true' && (int)ENTRY_DOB_MIN_LENGTH != 0) echo ' check_input("dob", ' . ENTRY_DOB_MIN_LENGTH . ', "' . ENTRY_DATE_OF_BIRTH_ERROR . '");' . "\n"; ?>

    TO:

    <?php if (ACCOUNT_DOB == 'true' && (int)ENTRY_DOB_MIN_LENGTH != 0) echo ' check_input("dob", ' . (ENTRY_DOB_MIN_LENGTH - 1) . ', "' . ENTRY_DATE_OF_BIRTH_ERROR . '");' . "\n"; ?>

    Which obviously will allow 9 character dobs to be entered in all other browsers. I don't know if I should put an i.e.6 specific switch in to only use this line if the client is on i.e.6 and what code that would consist of, but that is what I have found so far...

    That fixed failed for some so I have removed line 114 completely now...
