    Default Accessing Admin remotely

    Hi;

I am setting up a Zen Cart store for a client. As a test, since I have never used Zen Cart before, I installed it on my home server (1.3.9b). Now I am having an issue, and I think I know what it is related to.

First off, when I installed it, everything looked good when viewed from the server itself ('localhost'), but when I viewed it from another computer on the network via IP or via my dyndns account

    http://taylorhuston.dyndns.org/respo...iving/catalog/

none of the images or css styling showed up. I did some research and found out that it was because I must have specified 'localhost' somewhere during the installation procedure. I fixed that by editing the configure.php file to list the server as:

    http://taylorhuston.dyndns.org/respo...iving/catalog/

So now it looks fine when I access it from that link, but, when I try and go to

    http://taylorhuston.dyndns.org/respo.../catalog/admin

    my browser redirects me to

    http://localhost/responsible-living/...dmin/login.php

So the 'localhost' issue is still getting in my way. How do I change that?

    Thanks!

There are TWO configure.php files: one for the admin, and one for the storefront.
You'll need to update the URLs in both files.

    I found and looked at

    /admin/configuration.php

but I couldn't find where in the file to specify that. Am I just missing it?

The admin is in the admin folder (or whatever you've named it) in the includes folder. And, it is named configure.php

I don't have an admin folder in my includes.

I have an admin folder in the store root, /catalog/, and it has a file in it called configuration.php, but I couldn't find anything in it dealing with a url or server address.

But no admin folder in /catalog/includes/

    Oh

    /catalog/admin/includes/configure.php

    Found it

    Yeah, im an idiot.

Except now, the admin login page just loops. Still works from the server. Infact, if I use the full web address

    http://taylorhuston.dyndns.org/respo...dmin/login.php

from the server it works, but the same address from my desktop just loops.
