UPS not enabled - can't enable it..

Hi, I have a fresh install of 1.3.8 a and UPS module is not allowing me to enable it. I've tried removing and reinstalling it...I've set the first field flag to true but the little round dot is still yellow...won't turn green, and when checking out it says:

We are unable to obtain a rate quote for UPS shipping.
Please contact the store if no other alternative is shown.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

How does the UPS module know the weight of my products?
Where do I enter the weight?

And do I need to enter dimensions as well?

(you can ignore my initial post..i figured out it was because I had a zone set...and therefore the button won't turn green). thx

You set the shipping weight when you create the product - it's at the bottom of that page.

Hi, I see the Canada Post settings but nothing else...
did it get removed when I installed the CP one or can I just use the CP one?

Hi ...can anyone help me out on this...i don't see anywhere to put the shipping weight or dimensions...it's there for the canada post module but i need it for UPS ..is it the same one? or where should it be?

I don't think the Zencart UPS module handles dimensions.

When you enter a shipping weight for a product in the Canada Post area in your image, then try to buy that product using UPS, the weight doesn't show?

I'm not sure how the UPS module works. and the manual doesn't really go into any great detail.

Does UPS not need to know dimensions and weight? If so where do I put that info for each product? Cause I do not see it on my product details entry screen...

You didn't answer my question in post #6.

UPS (in the US, anyway) doesn't care about dimensions, just weight, unless you exceed their maximum dimension limits.
