shopping_cart.php question/issue

I'm trying to update the 'TEXT_INFORMATION' in the shopping_cart.php file, it's the part where you can add info in the shopping cart. I'm correctly placing the words in the ' ', but if I have the three sentences I want in there, the shopping cart is a blank white page. If I take some of it out, it's fine.

Is there a maximum number of characters allowed? If so, can this be changed somewhere?

I am having a similar problem.

I have the following message displayed to customers in the cart:
You may want to add some instructions for using the shopping cart here. (defined in includes/languages/english/shopping_cart.php)

I want to fix it, but when I go to Tools -> Define Pages Editor -> I do not see a define_shopping_cart.php file in the drop down menu to edit! How/Where can I create this file or change this text?

There's no limit I'm aware of. Does your new text contain a special character, like an apostrophe? If so, you may need to escape it by placing a backslash just before it:

That isn't a define file that's editable in the Define Pages Editor. You'll have to download it, edit it and upload it to the proper override folder.

includes/languages/english/shopping_cart.php

It's in includes/languages/english, and when you upload it, it would go in includes/languages/english/YOUR_TEMPLATE

I've looked everywhere and can't find define_shopping_cart.php anywhere. I am using the magic template and it is not there either. My version is 1.3.9e
