the script is looking for a os commerce database, being im not very SQL educated can you direct me to what its referring to?

also curious because this installs 1.3.8 version is it easy to update to newest version and where would i start, thanks in advance

You do have OSCommerece installed - correct?
It is the database that osc uses being referenced

im not sure where that would be located and how to tell the script to find it, im more of a html web page guy this cart stuff is very new to me

the script asks for two things a database to refer to and a prefix

i have figured out the database and my hoster told me there was no prefix
now when i insert the database name i get an error "1054 Unknown column 'attribute_sort' in 'field list'" and thus doesn't transfer the database contents, so please tell me what i am missing, if i am referring to the wrong database, anything to help me get my store back on its feet!

please help this is a real SOS
