search function with multi-language

I am setting up a new website that have 2 languages, and i find that the search function only display the search content with the same language.

I wonder if the search function can allow to search for all content/description with other language?

Just to clarify your question:

You have 2 languages - say English and Spanish. Your current selection in the store front is English. You want to search for a product and then you want the search results to be displayed in English and Spanish?

Am I understanding this correctly?

Sorry for misunderstanding,

My situation is that

for example,
I have two language,

let say product A (name is english is XX, name in chinese is 產品)

when i use the search function (under English version), if i type 產品, it cannot find this product; same if i search XX (under Chinese version) , it cannot find this product.

I wonder if it is possible to display the product (no matter it is under english or chinese), when i search XX or 產品
