Default Some orders showing as credit card payments running out of ideas

    Hey everyone, first post here.

I have searched for this issue and although there are many similar, none seem to be exactly the same.

My Zen cart version is 1.3.9d and the installed payment module is pay pal express checkout, all other modules are removed (red dots at the side of them)

The issue started a few weeks ago, firstly some pay pal orders were showing as cc, and obviously were not being processed via pay pal so I removed the cc module and this issue went away.

Days later I noticed some payments showing as check/money order but the customers had gone through the pay pal process, so I completely removed the check/money order module and all seemed fine.

2 days ago though, I noticed in the second column of the orders page that there are 2 different payment/zonetable codes, one is paypalwpp zonetable and the other paypaldp zonetable. Every order with the paypaldp code is shown as a credit card payment when the order is highlighted, and although I have received an order confirmation for these, no payment reaches pay pal.

This has me totally stumped and has also caused a bit of friction between some of my customers who I have had to contact and request payment again.

The only thing I can see that is left to try now is removing the standard zen cart "go to checkout" option leaving only the "checkout with pay pal" option intact?

Any help on this would be much appreciated, I have a very busy store and this is becoming a bit of an asset now.

    Thanks.

    Richard

The "paypaldp" code shows when people use the PayPal Website Payments Pro module to make a credit card payment directly from your website. The money from those transactions will show up in the PayPal account whose API credentials you've entered into your Zen Cart PayPal settings. So, yes, those WERE paid for by a credit card.
The "paypalwpp" code shows on orders which are paid via PayPal Express Checkout (don't be confused by the "wpp" in the code), and the money from those will also show up in the PayPal account whose API credentials you've supplied to the module.
