What do these mean in the "whos online"

What is the difference between these? Explain as some seem too similar to me
Active cart, Inactive cart , Active no cart, Inactive no cart

Active cart: someone has put items in his/her shopping cart and is still shopping.

Inactive cart: someone has put items in the shopping cart and has either left the website or has wandered away from his/her computer for a bit.

Active no cart: someone is browsing the site, but hasn't put any items in the shopping cart.

Inactive no cart: someone who was browsing the site without putting items in the shopping cart has either left the website or has wandered away from his/her computer for a bit.
