another "suddenly can't log in" post

Hi,

I had a zen cart shop all set up and was just ready to make it go live when all of a sudden I couldn't log in to it anymore. I just get the admin page over and over - once in a while with a "bad username/pass" error.

Here are the things I have tried:

cleared all cookies and cache in my browser
tried a different browser
completely uninstalled the current cart
installed a brand new, clean cart with using the latest version (3 times manually, with and without SSL, once through the godaddy applications app)

now I can't log in to the latest installation either. it's completely clean which makes me wonder if maybe the site has been hacked?

this site is being hosted on godaddy

I just noticed that if I try to log in with a completely wrong username then I get the "bad username/password" error but if I log in with the correct username then I don't get that error. Maybe that's a clue?

Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated,

Just the mention of Gone Daddy is scary

Have you made sure that both configure.php files point to the same locations?

Version of Zen Cart? Any other of the posting tips you can answer would be helpful.
