    Default 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax - Time Zone Offset

    OK it looks liked I jacked something up here. I bought a site from a previous owner who had modules I didn't know about. I went in and tried to adjust the settings on the time zone offset module. Instead of putting any value like -1 or +1 I merely left it empty. This then threw an sql error to me with the following. Keep in mind I get a similar one when trying to access any page in my admin area. Can anyone help me? The module for Time Zone Offset says if you don't set the time right in increments of - or + then it is an error that can only be fixed in phpmyadmin. So where do I got to fix that? Please help!

    1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '), '1', 'configuration.php', 'gID=1&', 'My IP')' at line 1
    in:
    [insert into zen_admin_activity_log (access_date, admin_id, page_accessed, page_parameters, ip_address) values (date_add(now(), INTERVAL HOUR), '1', 'configuration.php', 'gID=1&', 'My IP')]
    If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

    OK, I found the fix on my own. I think its only good to help anyone else who might have this problem in the future. So here is the answer if you put the wrong thing in and get the error I get.

    1. Log into your hosting account.
    2. Then go into PHPmyadmin.
    3. Next select the zen database.
    4. Find zen_configuration table.
    5. scroll to the bottom and go to the last page under this table cause your modules will be there that you installed most likely.
    6. Under configuration title you will see Time zone offset.
    7. Click the pencil icon to edit it.
    8. Then you will notice that under configuration_value there is nothing. Put a 1 or any number but not 0 there.

    Thats it and your back in business. Check out my images to see what im talking about.

    Thanks clipegg I had the same issue and your solution worked a treat with the easy to follow instructions that you gave.

    If more people did the same when answering peoples problems here it would be an even better place than it is now.

    Thanks Bruce. I am happy I could help. I was stumped for a while on that one. Now I have a new issue. If Only I would get help on that one. :)
