    Default Checkout fails; loops back to checkout

    A customer with IE7 clicks continue on the final checkout page and instead of going to paypal express, it just returns to the final checkout page.
    We have version 1.3.9d with FEC running on Linux
    We have tried it on Chrome, IE8 and FireFox and have not seen an issue

    We tried setting the recreate sessions to FALSE, but this had no effect.

    Any ideas?

    Found the problem. It had nothing to do with the browser.
    The issue is that if someone screws up their address, I get an error:

    10736 Shipping Address Invalid City State Postal Code - A match of the Shipping Address City, State, and Postal Code failed.

    And the customer gets pushed back to the checkout.

    Apparently Paypal is kicking back

    How did you find out that error? Did you have a log file somewhere? I have the same loop but in terms of wrong address entered I want a different reaction than this

    When ever a customer selects "Continue" to go to the PayPal Express Checkout, PayPal Express sends them back and the customer sees the page reload. So the customer of course repeats pressing the continue button over and over. On my end, I receive an email from ZenCart each time PayPal rejects the transaction. Here is the contents of the email:


    ALERT: PayPal Express Checkout Error (10736)
    10736 Shipping Address Invalid City State Postal Code - A match of the Shipping Address City, State, and Postal Code failed.
