Hello everyone! I am the webmaster for a company that sells e-books. For the most part, we do not have trouble with our shopping cart system, but there are times where buyers are unable to download the e-books they have ordered.
I have it setup so that once the buyer reaches the Thank You page, a .zip file containing the e-book is available at the bottom of the Thank You page. We have heard on several occasions from buyers that when they get to the Thank You page and scroll down, the .zip file is nowhere to be found. However, when I create test transactions at my end to try and rectify the issue, I am able to download the e-book just fine?
Also, another issue that came up today is a buyer tried to purchase several e-books, and the error message stated that their orders had expired. I have the downloading option set to expire after 7 days, and the purchase was just made today.
I am very new to zencart, we just launched the store in November, and I am still learning my way around.
