Default removing URL from invoices when printing

When I print invoices direct from the zencart invoice screen (by clicking 'print' on my webbrowser) it prints the URL at the bottom of the invoice. Is there a way of stopping this from happening? Currently I'm copying the invoices into Word then printing them but it would be quicker to print them straight from the browser.

The printing of the URL is a function of your browser. You'll notice the same thing if you print any other web page.

Simply click File, Page Setup (or Print Setup), find the header/footer section, and remove the tag/key etc that controls the URL being displayed. Then click okay.

This may affect *all* printouts from your browser.

Thankyou for that. I've noticed that invoices look a lot better when printed through word anyway so I think I will continue to do it that way.

help question Re: removing URL from invoices when printing

I noticed this is actually part of the recommendations for site security. I have a dumb question...

How does removing the url from being printed on your printer help your security?

If you print the URL to access your Admin area, and then give that printout to your customer, you've just told them how to access your admin. Most see that as a security risk.
