Reward Points addon: Please tell me what I did, didn't do or need to do?

Please bare with me. I am having issues trying to get the reward points module going in my store, but not sure if I am doing it right. The readme instructions are a little confusing to me. I installed it, unzipped it, uploaded it to my ftp, went to Admin->Tools->Install SQL Patch to upload the new.sql there... but now I am lost, I turned on the side boxes in admin, and didn't see the reward points side box, checked the other things in admin and didn't notice anything referring to rewards... what did I leave out as far as getting it working? or what did I do wrong? I am using the latest version of zen cart and installed the latest version of the reward point module.

First step is to post your questions in the right forum. The Rewards Points is an Add On.

Chances are you uploaded the folders and files to the wrong place.

You should have dragged and dropped the 'includes' and 'admin' folders from the mod to the root (top directory) of your store.

If you had changed your store's 'admin' folder's name previously, you would need to change the 'admin' folder in the mod to that same name before uploading.
