"Your Shopping Cart is empty" with friendly url

Hi.
I was looking all around the forum to try and find a solution that will help and none works for me.
I use 1.38a with ceon URI mapping addon.
If the Ceon is ON, then the products are not adding to the shopping cart and i get "Your Shopping Cart is empty". If i use products without the friendly URL then all works fine.

I use SSL that works without errors, I checked with the host (hostmonster)
I make all the necessary changes to the 2 configuration files as was clearly explained all over this forum.

I try to look for errors with enable_error_logging.php, there is none.

The .Htaccess file is well configured as was explained at the installation protocol of Ceon

Reading the support thread for the module you have is good advice, because you have something wrong and probably in your .htaccess file.

Interestingly, you don't even need these mods that rewrite URL's.

The search engines actually prefer that you DON'T rewrite URL's.

I just found this post.. I would have been able to respond straight away if you had posted in the Ceon URI Mapping support thread!

That sounds like your template is not using the zen_href_link function to build the "action" attribute for the add to cart form.

This means that the form is POSTing to the old dynamic URI and being redirected to the new static URI.

You should check that you have made the necessary modifications to includes/functions/html_output.php (from the "modified_core_files" folder in the distribution. If that isn't it, then check the tempalte isn't building the "action" attribute for the form itself.

That's absolutely true. The primary reason for the Ceon URI Mapping module is that it allows you to create easy to read/enter URIs for advertising purposes etc.. (E.g. I can remember the URIs of the support products on our site and point people towards them when necessary, rather than having to try to remember a dynamic URI - which is doable of course, but a little bit more difficult, and certainly much harder to type! :) ).

The use of static URIs in SEO/SEF is a side effect more than an additional feature, and certainly not the primary feature intended by the software. As the URIs look nicer though most people seem to like them and use the software for that purpose as its primary purpose rather than the software's real primary purpose! :)

when I click ' add to cart ' the message shows " your shopping is empty ' since I've installed CEON URL Mapping

I do lot of SEO. As far as i can see with my experiments, URL's that contains keywords, contributes to the SEO rank i'm getting. And this is what i'm trying to do..

And for the issue: I will try to use the CEON with deferent template and will let you know the results. I think the installation i good, i double check it. i'm using cold_steel template that suppose to fit 1.3.9 and my installation is 1.3.8. Can this be the problem?
