Bouncing emails to known good email addresses

I have recently noticed that my Zen Cart emails, going to external email addresses, are all being bounced. I am receiving emails from zen to my admin address (same server) but anything else is being bounced back. I have tested this using a known good email address and this is the result.

I have tried to send via PHP, SMTP, Sendmail, all with the same result.

Any ideas where to start?

If things worked before and they suddenly changed without you doing anything, talk to your host.

My server modified the resolv.conf entries and the issues appear to be resolved now.

Thanks for the direction, I would have never thought that it was a hosting issues based on the type of problem.

Also, note that you are an old version of Zen Cart, which has known security vulnerabilities. You need to upgrade to the latest version.

Two things kept me from upgrading.

1. The revision version seemed to change from, A to D, quite quickly. I would rather do one upgrade than to keep changing the script as a new bug is found

2. I do have some mods installed (Edit Orders, Sales Report, Return Authorization, extra side boxes, many EZ pages, and the thought of having to re edit the code is a little overwhelming for me.

Things are working quite well and I would hate to mess up the code and "break" the site. I understand there are some security risks, and have taken measures to minimize them. I guess I just have to sit down and re-read the upgrade from-to thread again and try to find the time.
