After searching the forum and internet, and trying all sorts of css code including z-index, overflow, etc., the drop down on my top menu is being hidden by the jquery slideshow and image I have on the home page. Now this is only happening in IE7 and IE8. Mozilla and Safari work fine!
Has anyone had this issue and if so please let me know how it was resolved. This is the only glitch that is preventing me from taking the site live.
