Advanced Attribute Search

I have completed an advanced attribute search, see it in action at www.ogzstore.co.uk on the Gadgets -> Science Cat.

The mod uses a sidebox to post the attributes (linked to the category table) to the index page ([options_1], [options_2] etc)

With a modified index filter and a MySQL Stored function to compared values.

I would like to complete this mod and need help completing the admin pages. I need to add the following:

An option_group_ID dropdown to the categories pages (linked to table)

Option_name -> Option_group_id Page similar to Option_name -> option_value.

Further modification to the Attributes in general to add a display name to option_names. To compensate for multiple option with the same name (e.g. {Option_name, Display_name}; DVD Type, Type; RAM Type, more Type etc)

If anyone can help me complete this mod please let me know.

I am very interested in this mod. I want a sidebox that works like a 'quick search' so I can search on attributes like size, colour etc.

I can't believe there isn't anything like it.

Visit the nearly created DVD category, new improved version.

It’s not quite a mod yet, the modified index filter & side box are ready.

A simple SQL statement can create the new tables to link Attributes->Attribute Group & Attribute Group->Categories.

But I still need help to modify the admin files as below:

Link in Category page to Attribute Group
Attribute Groups Page
Attributes -> Attribute Groups Page (Similar to options to Value)


Any volunteers/tips?
