    Default Page Is Stretched

Firstly if this is in wrong section, so sorry, wasn't sure where exactly to put it.

We have v1.3.9d, installed that version, Image Handler is only addon, we are using our own theme we created with the tut here at zen, no errors.

Everything at the store is completely aligned perfect. But here is what happens:

Customer adds to cart, clicks checkout, step 1 and 2 page are perfect, everything where it should be, then step 3 to confirm order stretches the page to right alot, like this

See how it goes off to right, off white section, every other page in the store is perfect except this one.

We have searched all our php files, all things relating to PayPal, and have searched this forum for a solution and found nothing.

Can anyone please help with this? What is actually causing this and what do we edit to solve it please?

It looks as though you have a wide unbreakable element on the page that is forcing the width to be excessive. However, this is the sort of problem that can only be diagnosed from the actual site, no a static image.

Thank You so much for trying to help.

Our store is at http://store.xeracx.net, and please it does contain adult images so be careful if youre concerned about that.
The problem is when customers are checking out it is step 3 of 3 that does it.

Can you try please to see if you know what we need to do please?

Sorry. should have said before ... if you want help diagnosing problems in your checkout, create a test account.

Means that people helping don't have to spend time creating an account and shows you which accesses to your site are real and which can be ignored.

The problem is that on that page you have a table with the ID cartContentsDisplay and an explicit width of 950px, which is wider than the space available for it in the middle of your site.

I suspect that this has been hardcoded into the that page's template with the intention that either one or both of the side columns should be turned off on that page.

In standard Zen Cart the width is "100%" rather than "950px" and I suspect that would work well for your site too.

We have changed all the 950px to percentages and we are still having the stretched screen.

I also work on the store above.

The table with ID cartContentsDisplay on the checkout confirmation page is the one doing the damage and that still has an explicit width of 950px set as an attribute on the table tag.

See post #6. I can only speculate, since I can't see the files that generate the pages, but that post contains my best guess.
