Default Checkout Success - Server Error 500

    Version v1.3.9d
Site has not been upgraded. New install yesterday.
    No Add-ons installed.

The only changes I have made are creating a template override and modifying the configure files to rename admin and add ssl security.
I have checked with Go Daddy. There are no problems on their end. I'm using two other Zencarts on this server. Both working fine.

I have searched and cannot find a solution to my problem. When I click to confirm the order I get an Internal Server Error. The order goes through fine, email notification is sent but success page does not display. I have made no changes to this page. I switched back to classic template. I get the same error.

Since "Internal Server Error" is generated by the *server*, before any software like Zen Cart has any chance to do anything, you need to get someone who manages the *server* to tell you what's causing the error. The server has logs which record those details. Take it up with your hosting company. And don't let them tell you it's not their problem.

And while you're waiting on them to decide whether to help you or not, check and see if you're generating any PHP-level errors by something else on your site: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=82
