Which FedEx mod to use?

Hi!

I am trying to figure out which FedEx mod to use. I have a ZC 139d site.

I ship both large and small products (850 lbs surgery table or a 1 lbs light bulb). So I need both ground and freight.

Here are the two FedEx mods I have found:
FEDEX
FEDEX XML

Because I primarily drop ship, I really need this mod:
Origin Based Drop-Shipping (requires FedEx module)

It appears I will need the FEDEX mod, not the FEDEX XML mod. But can someone explain the difference? I wonder why there are two mods that appear to do the same thing?

If you need that dropshipping mod, then you don't have a choice - use Numinix's mod.

The other one is a year-and-a-half old. It's possible it wasn't stable, or didn't work with newer versions of Zencart. There are quite a few mods which seem to duplicate other mods.

That's kind of what I figured, thanks for confirming.

Incidentally, I just got off the phone with FedEx support, they say they are rolling over to using nothing but xml in two years.
