Remove /zencart from website name in browser field

Hi, my site is live but when I go to http://www.thegreatgiftshop.co.uk

it still then displays as http://www.thegreatgiftshop.co.uk/zencart/index.php in the browser search bar.

How do we make it simply display as; http://www.thegreatgiftshop.co.uk

Your shop is installed in a sub directory named 'zencart'. You would need to transfer the file system to the root of your server.

You may want to check the tutorials section of this site on how to move your file system.

Alternatively, if your hosting account allows it, you could point your domain directly into the zencart folder and get your web guy to edit your configure files. That would also remove references to the zencart folder from your URL.
