Quantity Box shows 0

I am having a difficult time finding where to change the Default on the Add to Cart Quantity Box for the individual product pages.

It currently says 0 and I've hunted high and low in the forums and tried all the suggestions outlined in previous threads. I want it to default to 1.

Here is what the store is set up with in Admin currently:

Product Qty Minimum is set to 1
Configuration > Product Listing > Display Product Quantity > 1
Configuration > Product Listing > Display Product Add to Cart Button > 0
Configuration > Product Listing > Display Multiple Products Qty Box Status and Set Button Location > 3
Configuration > Product Info > Product Quantity Box Status - Adding New Products > 1


This may have been customized in the php somewhere before I came along -- any idea where I may be able to find where to change it?

I would appreciate any suggestions you may have!

Edit the Product ... what are the settings on the:

Product Qty Minimum:
Product Qty Maximum: 0 = Unlimited, 1 = No Qty Boxes
Product Qty Units:

Each product is listed as:

Product Qty Minimum: 1
Product Qty Maximum: 40 0 = Unlimited, 1 = No Qty Boxes
Product Qty Units: 1

By default, the product _info pages would show 1 in the Add to Cart quantity input box ...

Try switching to Classic Template to see if it is something in your template doing this ...

No I switched to the Classic Template as well and quantity says 0.

The original designer may have altered something in the default files as well -- is there a php location to check?

There are so many things that could be doing this that it is hard to pinpoint ...

Maybe seeing an URL to a Product where this is happening would help ...

I am working on the CDN equivalent to our US site (which also has this issue).

Here is one of the products that has this problem:

Go to the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... and in the bottom input box enter:
cart_quantity

select Catalog and click SEARCH ...

See if that starts you on the trail of where the value is getting set to 0 ...

Thanks for the FYI on the zenid -- new to posting.

I have done that and cannot seem to locate value="0" anywhere. Am I out of luck?

Without actually seeing your files and searching around for what has been changed to alter the normal method I don't know how better to steer you on this ...

Check the tpl_ file just to see if it is hard coded ... otherwise you have to find where the code is built for that quantity box ...
