Blank page after install

OK, I had my zen cart store up and running. Then I inadvertently install Wordpress over the top of the store; it was supposed to go into the seperate directory but I wasn't watching what I was doing. I removed all of the word press files and directories and reinstalled all the zen cart files back into the original directory. Now however, when I go to the site's URL all I get is a blank page. I've tried creating an index.html to test the server and that does work. I am also able to access the admin page for the store.

I have checked the /cache folder but am not getting any error logs or dumps. the config.php file is as it was originally so no I am at a loss as to what to do anybody have a suggestion?

when you copied the files for zencart back to the server, did you copy all the files from the root of the zip, ie index.php etc
just to make sure you have the correct index.php on your root and make sure there are no other files called index.html or default.xxx
