I dunno how but I think I deleted all the built in shipping modules.
I'm one of those trying to configure varying shipping rates for multiple zones within the same country (ideally down to the city level based on the average rates of the local delivery service - although at this rate I'll take the equivalent of U.S. "state" level definition). I'm sure my zone definitions (and tax rates) are set up correctly. My only issue was I was trying to apply varying shipping/delivery rates to all the zones I'd defined, as against to the whole country or any single, given zone definition.
I thought the thing to do was to clone the flat rate module so that I could enter shipping rates to the multiple zones....that's where it all went wrong.
I can see what seems to be all the original (built-in) php files in my directory but not in the list from zc's control panel view.
At the end of the day I suspect I only need the add on: "zone table rate for multiple zones"...can I just re-install that somehow? But then how do I enter the varying zone definition based rates.
Just an additional note to help ponder around this query...
I thought perhaps to redefine what is currently my list of sub-zones and make them just straight 'zones' that the module would pick up. The challenge here though is that in quite a few instances I have city names that are common to various parts of the country.
I want to ensure as little wiggle room for error as possible as well as a straightforward user experience, and would rather the customer select from drop down lists...
