I have tried creating simple gold attributes multiple times for this product but I continue to be left with only radio buttons instead of the drop down menu I chose.
I've read the wiki, the thread here and another tutorial here: http://minu.me/2nhn
I know I'm thick headed but, come on!
Not sure if it matter but,I also have Improved Attributes Controller installed.

a drop down with only one value will be displayed as a selected radio button

I did the naming and values in reverse.
