[Done v1.3.9f] Searching with quotes does not work when clicking next button

Found this bug today. Running 1.3.9b but did not find fix in either c or d.

Searching allows me to enter a search term in quotes ie "22 caliber" and this works great but when I click on the next link either above or below I get an error. The generate URL link has &quot: and the search does not understand this as part of the variables on the get.

Hate to revive a dead thread but I am running into the same problem with my zencart. http://www.discontinuedbrandnameyarn.com we are using 1.3.9c and charset=iso-8859-1 if you click any link in the side-box labeled
Browse by Yarn Weight the advanced search will come up....however when you try to go to page 2 you get the error message "There is no product that matches the search criteria." What the search appears to be doing is auto editing " with " anyone have any thoughts on fixing this?
