Base price issues

I reset my base price to the highest price on all my products, and it reset itself and took away the base price I setup.
It has done this twice now.
Is there anyway to keep it from doing that?

How are your products priced?

In the product entry screen or have you omitted entering a price there and selected "priced by attributes?"

It did it again.
I put new products in and left them alone for a week.
Today I added more and everything reset.
I used EasyPopulate to upload the item, and then to add teh attributes.
All my prices dropped.
I am trying to show to whole amount as the base price, half, then a custom size.
The custom size is showing up for all my prices.
I didn't check between the adding of new products and attributes to see if one of these steps reset it.

I hit price by attributes after adding with easy populate.
